Elmdale Lutheran Church
We are a church of the Good Shepherd,
and we are called to be faithful followers of Jesus.

As a member of the United as One Lutheran Parish of the Western ND Synod, Elmdale Lutheran Church is located 7 miles west of Kenmare, ND, in the town of Niobe.

Elmdale meets for Sunday worship at 9:30 am, alternating locations with Trinity. Elmdale meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and celebrates Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of odd months. The members then meet at Trinity Lutheran (4 miles N of Kenmare) on the 2nd and 4th Sunday with Holy Communion on the 2nd Sunday of even months. A Potluck fellowship time follows the service every Sunday! Sunday School and confirmation are available for youth.

Elmdale has an active Women of the ELCA gathering that either meets in the church or in members' homes. 

​

Sept 3 - Trapped: Innocence is Not For Sale (2025) at 6:30 p.m. at Kenmare Theater

Sept 10 - "The Lifeline" presented by the Lifeguard Group at

6:30 p.m. with supper beforehand at 5:30 p.m.

80th Anniversary on Oct 5 - Come to Holy Cross to celebrate 80 years as a congregation with a service of Holy Communion, dinner following, and activities for kids, including pioneer wagon rides.

Community Concert on Oct 8 - Come to the Powers Lake School for a free Christian concert with The Afters and Cade Thompson. Lions will be serving supper from 5-6:30 p.m. Sponsored by area churches and individuals.

Bible studies continue at Holy Cross on Wednesdays at 12:15 and Kenmare at 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays. 

United as One Lutheran Parish (ELCA) is a parish of 4 smaller congregations in the Powers Lake and Kenmare area of North Dakota.
